USATF provides coaching education opportunities with a science based, coach driven and athlete centered approach; aiding in the tradition and pursuit of the World’s #1 track and field team. Explore the education, grant and support programs that await coaches of all levels, from the grass roots to the elite.
USATF annually recognizes professional coaches for outstanding contributions and service to coaching education.
USATF is pleased to award over $20,000 in annual coaching enhancement grants. The grant programs offered provide education and mentor-ship opportunities with USATF Master Coaches to assist active coaches in enhancing their professional growth.
Hosting a Level 1 school is a great benefit to your track and field community as well as an opportunity to share your coaching expertise with other coaches and athletes. Interested applicants should be graduates of the USATF Instructor Training Course and should review the USATF Coaching Education Administration Manual.
USATF’s SafeSport Program includes elements of governance, advocacy, education and communication, and compliance and monitoring.
USATF Coaching Education is pleased to feature offerings from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), other National Governing Bodies (NGB’s), and approved partner organizations. Providing preparation for more advanced levels of the USATF Professional Pathway, there are no prerequisites to enroll and all courses are available online.
